A Resource for Fellow Florida Practitioners
Not every case is fully staffed for trial. Some practices — estate planning, transactional work, family law — generate disputes that require experienced litigation counsel. Others may already be in litigation but need co-counsel with specific trial or appellate experience for a critical stage of the proceedings.
RNC Legal is available to fill that role. We work with Florida attorneys — as co-counsel, designated trial counsel, or appellate counsel — who are handling complex disputes and need a litigator who has tried cases, managed discovery through verdict, and argued before Florida's appellate courts including the Florida Supreme Court.
We handle co-counsel and referral arrangements professionally, in full compliance with Florida Bar rules governing fee sharing and referral fees. Every arrangement is documented in writing, disclosed to the client, and structured to keep the client's interests front and center throughout the engagement.
How We Can Help Your Client
Co-Counsel on Litigation Matters
We partner with primary counsel to provide litigation expertise on complex or high-stakes matters. RNC Legal can step in at any stage — from pre-suit strategy through trial — while you maintain your client relationship and case direction. Fee sharing in accordance with Fla. Bar Rule 4-1.5(g).
First Chair Trial Counsel
When your client's matter requires experienced first chair counsel at trial, we are available to serve in that role. RNC Legal has tried civil cases in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County courts, and brings the preparation, presence, and strategy that winning at trial demands.
Appellate Counsel & Oral Argument
Mr. Chae has argued before the Florida Supreme Court — among the highest appellate forums in the state. We are available as appellate counsel or designated oral argument counsel for appeals before Florida's District Courts of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, and other state appellate tribunals.
Case Referrals
If you are referring a client who has a litigation matter outside your area of practice, we welcome the opportunity to serve your client well. We accept civil litigation referrals from Florida attorneys and handle referral fee arrangements in compliance with Florida Bar rules — with full disclosure to and consent of the client.
